ANTONIO GIORGI: PLAY-BY-PLAY
Antonio Giorgi is the Italian-language play-by-play announcer for Olympic hockey on TLN and Mediaset Italia. No stranger to making the big calls, Antonio has perfected his skill working on Hockey Day in Canada, Euro 2016 and 2014 World Cup broadcasts. He hails from the Italian region of Umbria and has been a Mediaset Italia personality since his move to Canada in 2007. In addition to the play-by-play commentary, Antonio will also host Olympic highlight programming in Italian.
NELSON PEREZ: PLAY-BY-PLAY
Nelson Perez is an experienced Spanish-language broadcaster from Venezuela who will provide the Spanish language play-by-play on TLN and Univision Canada. Perez’s love of sports broadcasting has garnered him the spot as one of the lead play-by-play radio announcers during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and he’s had the opportunity to interview high profile pro athletes including David Villa, Kobe Bryant and Josh Donaldson.
SERGIO MOYANO RIVERA: COLOUR COMMENTARY & HIGHLIGHTS SHOW HOST
Sergio Moyano Rivera recently moved to Canada from Colombia where we worked in radio and journalism in Bogota. As a young boy, Sergio always harboured the dream of covering sporting events as an avid sports fanatic. His dream is now becoming a reality as his electrifying Spanish language colour commentary for Olympic hockey on Univision Canada and TLN adds the Latino flair to our nation’s favourite game. Rivera will also host the daily Olympic highlights review show.

A former competitive figure skater turned journalist, Camila Gonzalez shares our passion for sports! Camila delivers the Canadian Latino connection throughout the games with up close and personal athlete profiles and community celebration segments. As Italians and Hispanics across our home and native land unite to cheer on Canada and their native countries in PyeongChang, Camila brings you the culturally connected stories that matter. ALEXIS ESPEJO: PLAY-BY-PLAY
Alexis Espejo has an extensive career as a Spanish-language sports broadcaster makes him the perfect fit for the Spanish language play-by-play on TLN and Univision Canada. Originally from Venezuela, Alexis’ passion for sports brought him to Canada for the postgrad Sports Journalism program at Centennial College, after he completed his degree in Caracas. He contributed to the CBC News coverage of the 2015 Pan Am Games and has worked as an international baseball correspondent for the Venezuelan Sports Channel, while based in Toronto. Alexis’ first love is baseball but any type of competitive sport gets his heart rate up and with his years of experience interviewing athletes and he is ready to bring Canadians Hockey Latino Style!
