TLN Television proudly joined the Ontario Chamber of Commerce in presenting the exclusive broadcast of the 38th Ontario Business Achievement Awards (OBAAs), which aired Sunday, December 27th, 2020. While the OBAAs has typically been an in-person gala event, this year TLN Television brought you the first-ever VIRTUAL OBAAs recognizing Difference Makers!
The OBAAs is the most recognized industry gala in the province with a single focus on celebrating business success. This annual awards gala celebrates incredible innovations and achievements and is unique in its engagement of a broad range of industry sectors and sizes from across the province.
As Canada’s most influential multicultural media organization, TLN Media Group partnered with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce to recognize Difference Makers, businesses across Ontario who have contributed to COVID-19 relief efforts throughout the pandemic with this special televised broadcast.

This year’s OBAAs celebrated individuals who have supported Ontario’s communities including; Lifetime Achievement Award recipient —Joe Mancinelli of LiUNA and CEO of the Year Award recipient —Mike Rencheck of Bruce Power, as well as the incredible frontline and essential workers: grocery workers, construction workers, frontline healthcare workers, who have truly risen to the COVID challenge working tirelessly to keep our communities running throughout this difficult time.
