Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Lead IT team in managing resources and processes required to design, plan, and support existing network infrastructure, server, hardware, and software
  • Monitor performance, security, backup and recovery of the network and data
  • Plan, control and evaluate data security, operations and processing systems, including hardware platform, procurement and redundancy
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to be used as enhancements or upgrades to existing IT infrastructure
  • Prepare and maintain up to date IT procedures, workflow and documentation related to our processes and platforms operations
  • Engage in leading edge thinking to provide high value service
  • Supervise and train IT team members

 

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field with a minimum 5 years working experience in IT industry
  • Experience in a supervisory role in IT services setting
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Platforms, specifically Office 365.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CCS, Javascript, Mobile Device Management (MDM) experience is considered an asset
  • Ability to quickly assess and troubleshoot complex problems and devise effective solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail and keen problem solver
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, work well under pressure, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a confident, resourceful, dedicated and individual
