Eligible nominees must be:

• Hispanic
• Live in Canada at the time of nomination
• Have a strong influence in the Canadian mainstream, education, achievements & awards, volunteerism, entrepreneurship, and support to the Hispanic community
• They will be contacted if eligible and they must accept the nomination

Media and select community associations are eligible to help select 30 finalists whose names will be made public. Past winners and public online voting will select the 10 winners who will be announced at the Gala awards in the Fall. Letter writing campaigns are ignored.
