
The Award-Winning Salsa in Toronto Festival
Unveils Its 2025 Season Lineup!
(Toronto, ON – June 11, 2025) The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project (CSFP) announced the 2025 lineup for Salsa in Toronto, Canada’s largest Latin-themed festival, presented by TD Bank Group. The festival launch event was a showcase of authentic flavours, music and dance, all capped off by an exclusive concert by Latin Grammy winning jazz pianist Hilario Duran at CBC’s Glenn Gould Studio.
#ComeDanceWithUs! Bigger, bolder, and now year-round with new activations across Ontario and beyond, this year’s Salsa in Toronto festivities feature an international calibre of Latin music, art showcases, Latin eats, mucho dancing, and fun for the entire familia.
New Additions to the Festival Lineup:
- Salsa Ambassador Search Reveal – Meet Jose Rosales: After a nationwide casting call to find the next face of the festival, the year-long campaign culminated in the big announcement of the new Salsa Ambassador, Jose Rosales.
- Salsa Kitchener – August & September: The passion and energy of Latin dance, culture and salsa takes over downtown Kitchener with weekly fulfilled celebration for the entire family at the Kitchener Market.
- Salsa for Seniors – Now Yearlong: Free dance classes for seniors continues and now available all year long, fostering connections and active participation through Latin rhythms.
- Salsa for Kids – New: Introducing Salsa for Kids—a vibrant new addition to the Salsa in Toronto Festival, offering year-round fun and rhythm for the next generation of dancers!
Returning Festival Favourites Include:
- Free Dance Lessons – June & July: Join free Salsa, Bachata, and Latin dance classes across Southern Ontario.
- Salsa at Blue Mountain – June 20-22: Collingwood heats up with a salsa fiesta in Blue Mountain Village.
- Latin Art Exhibition – June 5 to July 6: The Little EGG Gallery will feature local artwork created by up-and-coming Latino artists ages under 18.
- Salsa at Blue Jays – July 23: Fans at Rogers Centre can immerse themselves in the Latin culture, for a night of music, authentic flavours and vibrant celebrations that are sure to be a home run!
- Salsa on St. Clair – July 5 & 6: Join Canada's largest Latin themed Street Festival turning midtown Toronto’s Hillcrest Village into a celebration of music, dance, and culture with performers and non-stop dancing. Presented by TD Bank Group and Platinum sponsor Jackpot City Canada.
- Salsa Market Street – August 10: A day of Salsa dancing in the heart of Toronto’s Old Town, bringing Latin flair to the historic St. Lawrence neighbourhood.
- Salsa Tremblant – August 22-24: The Salsa tour then moves on to Quebec as live music, performances and authentic flavours transform the stunning landscapes of the Pedestrian Village for a second year.
The heart of the party - the FREE Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival returns July 5 & 6, transforming midtown Toronto’s Hillcrest Village (stretching from Winona Dr. to Christie St.) into Canada’s hottest Latin celebration of the year. From churros to paella to empanadas, the street festival features the best in authentic Latin flavours with over 35 local food vendors for attendees to indulge in favourites from more than 15 Hispanic countries across the globe. Enjoy LIVE performances from 350+ artists showcased in the Jackpot City Festival lineup including weekend headliners and crowd-favourites Luis Franco, Marta Elena, La Borinqueña and more. Take in the colourful folkloric performances during the Fiesta Parade presented by Cuba Única, and let’s not forget the non-stop-dancing all weekend long. With over 25 dance instructors across the festival footprint, it’s no wonder hundreds of thousands of locals and visitors alike attend the festival year after year for the country’s biggest street dance party!
