– 12 slices white bread
– 3 eggs, whisked
– Flour for dredging
– Nutella, for spreading
– Mascarpone cheese, for spreading
– 2 bananas, sliced
– 1 tbsp. olive oil
– Confectioner’s sugar for sprinkling
Start with two pieces of bread as though you were making a sandwich. On one slice spread your Nutella, and on the other spread your mascarpone. Place the bananas on one of the slices and sandwich them together. Cut each sandwich in half.
Dredge your sandwiches first in flour then into the egg wash. In a frying pan heat up the olive oil and fry up your sandwich on high heat as you would French toast. Cooking each side until slightly golden. Remove from the pan and sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar. Makes 6 sandwiches.
