1 tbsp. almond butter or all-natural peanut butter
1 medium banana, cut into slice and frozen
1 heaping tsp. cocoa powder
1 heaping tsp. honey, or to taste
1 Medjool date, pitted and chopped
Pinch cinnamon (optional)
1 tsp. flax oil or 1 1/2 tbsp. flax meal
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup milk
Add almond butter, frozen banana slices, cocoa powder, honey, date, cinnamon, flax oil, yogurt and milk to blender. Blend until smooth. If too thick, thin with more milk.
Yield: 1 serving.
