TLN Television and Mediaset Italia were proud supporters of the first annual “Become Part of the Story” Fundraising Event: Macaroni for Africa, organized by the Teasdale-Corti Foundation. In support of the LACOR Hospital in Uganda, the fundraiser was inspired by Telelatino’s award winning original documentary Dominique Corti: Un Camino Per La Vita which tells the inspirational story of Italian Canadian humanitarian ambassadress Dr. Dominque Corti and her lifelong devotion to carrying on the Lacor hospital in Uganda founded in 1972 by her Italian father Dr. Piero Corti and French Canadian mother Dr. Lucille Teasdale, Canada’s first female surgeon.
