TORONTO, ON – (November 13, 2018) – The brightest Latin artists from across the globe will gather in the city of lights for the biggest night in Latin Music! TLN Media Group presents the exclusive Canadian broadcast of the 19th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards®  LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Thursday November 15 on Univision Canada and TLN TV currently on FREE PREVIEW in close to 10M Canadian homes from coast to coast.

Don’t miss the Live red carpet coverage on Canada’s leading all Spanish channel Univision Canada at 7pm/et and stay connected on social with our very own Camila Gonzalez who will be Live on the red carpet with updates on all the fashion hits and misses and behind-the-scenes interviews with some of the biggest names in Latin music.

The awards show will kick off with the first ever live performance of six-time Latin GRAMMY ® and two-time GRAMMY®  winner Marc Anthony, current Latin GRAMMY® nominee Bad Bunny, and four-time GRAMMY® winner Will Smith’s new song “Está Rico” as the show’s opening act.

Featuring some of the biggest talent in the industry, nominees include Colombian reggaeton artist J Balvin leading the pack with eight nominations.  Balvin is recognized for a variety of his collaborations including “X” with Nicky Jam, which is up for Record Of The Year and Best Urban Song, and “Mi Gente” featuring Beyoncé, and nominated for Best Urban/Fusion Performance.

The performances for this year’s show promise to deliver a star-studded diverse and eclectic mix of music across all genres including a must see performance by six-time Latin GRAMMY® and four-time GRAMMY® winning rock-pop band, Maná. The iconic band from Guadalajara, Mexico is this year’s 2018 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year for their artistry, philanthropy and their ongoing support for environmental and human rights.

The film follows Sloan Carter (Bea Santos) a young woman who has recently succumbed to blindness. When her father leaves for the weekend, her two best friends and a protégé of her father’s keep her company. But as they look forward to a peaceful weekend at her family’s home, darkness looms and a shadowy threat turns this safe, country getaway into a terrifying fight for survival.”
