TLN Television is a longtime champion of The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and the cameras were out to support the launch of the monumental SickKids vs Limits Campaign. Post-war 1940’s, the Toronto community came together with great pride to build the ‘new’ SickKids Hospital. Today, to respond to the opportunity of 21st-century medicine, the community gathers once again to kick off the foundations $1.3 billion fundraising campaign to rebuild the world-renowned hospital

As part of our Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations, Univision Canada attended Hispanic Day on Parliament Hill to pay tribute to the diversity and contributions of the Hispanic community to Canadian society.

More than 30 students from different culinary schools in Montreal took part into Peru Gourmet Canada 2017 contest which allowed participants to show their skills and knowledge in the preparation of the internationally well-known Peruvian dishes.

Univision Canada congratulates the winner Ru Zhang, from the Pearson School of Culinary Arts who will enjoy a one week travel to Lima that includes a gastronomic experience program.

as the presenting sponsor of the Canada Salsa & Bachata Congress. This year, as part of our Hispanic Heritage Month community celebrations, the Univision Canada cameras and host Renzo Garcia took us behind the scenes to take in some of the highlights.

Telelatino Network and Univision Canada are proud donors of the annual Hispanic/Latino Student Awards with Ryerson University. The awards help improve access to quality post-secondary education, entrepreneurship, mentorship and career guidance, and provide support to students
in financial need. Univision Canada takes great pride in helping create future leaders and congratulates the 2017 winners. Felicitaciones!

As part of Telelatino’s Hispanic Heritage month celebrations, the Univision Canada cameras attended and supported the Mexican Earthquake Victims Benefit Concert event organized by Vanguardia MexiCanadiense (a non-profit organization that brings together the Mexican community to keep and promote their culture and values). Funds raised will benefit the victims of the recent earthquakes in Mexico. His Worship John Tory, Mayor of Toronto and MP for Davenport, Julie Dzerowicz addressed the crowd and applauded Hispanic Canadians for their solidarity.
